Drone Flights

Flying drones within the Sywell Flight Restricted Zone (FRZ) is strictly prohibited without first obtaining permission from Sywell Aerodrome.

If you wish to fly a drone or unmanned Aircraft within the Sywell FRZ, please select the location on the map, and select 'Notify Facility'. This will take you to the Altitude Angel (Drone Assist) website where you can register or if you have an account you can log-in and submit the flight details.

Alternatively, please supply the following information and send by email to tower@sywellaerodrome.co.uk

Please provide at least 24 hours notice to allow us time to review the request.

• Operator Telephone
• Type of Flight (Recreational / Commercial)
• Date and Time period(s) of the requested flight(s)
• Location (please use what3words.com and obtain the location)
• Your Maximum operating height (feet above ground)
• Drone Model/weight

We will contact you to confirm your approval including any restrictions that may be required.
