Sywell Aviation Museum Talks and other Events
Sywell Aviation Museum holds occasional evening talks during the winter months to raise funds for the Museum.
Full Circle - A Display Pilot's Story - 19th March 2017, 2pm
Sywell Aviation Museum presents an illustrated talk by Bill Ramsey.
Bill's fascinating personal story of around 50 years' involvement with aviation: covering his operational career - an even split of bomber pilot and flying instruction – and his eventual career in the display world.
The main part of the presentation covers his time as a display pilot with the BBMF, as the RAF solo aerobatic display pilot for the Grob Tutor and of course his time with Vulcan XH558, and his time as Senior Supervisor to the Red Arrows. The talk includes a number of short films not seen in public before.
Talk held in support of the Sywell Aviation Museum.
Held at The Cirrus Room, The Aviator Hotel, Sywell Aerodrome, Sywell, Northants, NN6 0BN.
Admission £5 on the door, limited numbers, first come first served, raffle, free on site parking, bar, restaurant. For more information contact Stuart King, Museum Talks Coordinator, on 07711 363392.
