Museum has Triumphant Opening

10th April 2012

Easter Saturday 7th April saw the Grand Opening of the Sywell Aviation Museum for 2012 and what a terrific success it was! We were absolutely overwhelmed by the numbers! Thank you so much to all who attended to enjoy the superlative Spitfire display by Peter Teichman from the Hangar 11 Collection, re-enactors from the Pitsford Home Guard, military vehicles from the Military Vehicle Trust and the Troops Trucks and Stores Military Group! Superb music from the Blitz Sisters rounded off the day! A huge thank you to all our supporters, visitors and friends!

The Museum is now open until the end of September between 10.30-16.30 every weekend and bank holiday. Group bookings outside those times are now being taken - for more information please contact Ben Brown.
